Key Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons for children and adults across different skill levels
• Plan safe, structured, and age-appropriate swimming sessions
• Coach proper swimming techniques, breathing, body position, and water confidence
• Monitor students closely to ensure safety in and around the pool
• Track student progress and provide clear feedback to students or parents
• Maintain poolside discipline, class flow, and a positive learning environment
• Support swimming assessments, trial classes, and member experience when needed
• Work closely with Wellness, Experience, and Operations teams
• Other tasks as assigned
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related fields
• Certified Swimming Instructor Level 1
• At least 2 years of experience in swimming instruction
• Strong understanding of swimming techniques, water safety, and class management
• Able to teach both children and adults with patience, confidence, and care
• Clear communication skills with a warm and professional attitude
• Able to monitor, record, and track student progress in an organized way
• Able to work shift hours, including weekends or rotation days
